I would like to tell you how the Birth of "Baby Bunz" came about.

I have a muscle disease and I have been worrying about how I was going to support myself when I could no longer work, which I know is getting closer by the day. My brother who is a minister told me to pray for answers and God would help me. So I prayed and I prayed and this is what happened.

In December 2003 my fiancé asked me what I wanted for Christmas.  So just like most women I got the big sheet of paper and made sure I had a sharpened pencil and started writing.  When I got close to the end I wrote clay.  He said to me what kind of clay?  I said I don't know just some clay, you know to make things like animals and things.  I had no idea why I wrote clay but I did.  Not knowing at the time that God was working on a plan.  Christmas Eve when I opened the box there was everything I could possibly want to use to make things, clay, tools, and books. I was thinking what in the world am I going to do with this.  Well, it all sat for a couple of weeks in the box and then one day I decided to get it out and play around with it.

I was making animals and I will be the first to admit they were ugly. Then I thought OK I will make some little stick people.  Oh my! The animals were better.  Then I made a couple of things with the step by step instructions in one of the books and it wasn't to bad.  But I put it away for a few weeks and then one night I had a dream.  The next morning I got up and every time I closed my eyes I saw a picture of something.  I thought to myself there is no way that I can make that.  But after dealing with the picture every time I blinked my eyes, I said OK I will try.

So I got all the clay and tools out and sat down at the table and started making it.  Within an hour I had it made and it looked just like the picture in my head.  I had no problems, it was like someone else was making it for me and it was flawless.  I looked at the finished product and said to myself.  I made that? I was shocked. So was my fiancé.  Then my imagination ran wild, I didn't want to stop.  There was a point when I believe God said OK you are on your own because it started taking me about 3 hours to make one.

Then it came time to give them a name.  I was looking them over and I had made the back of the dress a little too short and their little buns showed just a bit and the name "Baby Bunz" came into my head.  That was in early March 2004.  By Heavenly inspiration March 2004 the Birth of "Baby Bunz" came about.

Since March I have them in our local Hallmark.  I had a show for the towns annual Christmas Craft and Gift show and I have had orders from different states.  They are now Registered and Trademarked.

I make each one by hand and I make it with Love.  I put my heart into each and every one of them.  They all have their own personality and that is depending on what music I am listening to.

So if you see one you like I will be happy to make it and send it to you.  I know it will put a smile on your face and after seeing one you will want to collect them all.  If it is for a gift it will be a one of a kind gift for sure. If it is one that can be personalized that is not a problem, I can do that.  If you have an idea for one that you want me to make just send me an e-mail and I will see what I can do.
